Adopt-a-Road Program

Keep Jackson County Beautiful coordinates the County's adopt-a-road program.  There are approximately 630 miles of County roads in Jackson County, all which could benefit from the program.  The adopt-a-road program helps Jackson County citizens show their pride in their community by reducing litter and pollution along County roadways.  It is KJCB's hope that this program will help increase quality of life, civic involvement, and area beautification throughout all of Jackson County.

Please contact Jamie Dove at jdove@jacksoncountygov.com or (706)367-5680 if you are interested in adopting a particular road.  KJCB provides safety vests, pickers, latex gloves, and garbage bags to the adoptee/group and will also arrange for the removal of the filled garbage bags.  Each adopted section of road will be marked with two signs with the adoptee/group's name.  We will order the signs and have them installed at the proper locations.
