This multiuse facility, owned and operated by Jackson County, is located off County Farm Road across from Lamar Murphy Park and in front of the Jackson County Fire Training Center. The 38,000 square foot facility has the following:
18,700 square foot multipurpose area that can be used for: preparing animals to be shown in livestock shows , small concerts, banquets, tradeshows, exhibits and large parties.
8,900 sf Show Arena which has bleacher seating for 300 people. This area can also be used for other purposes such as large meetings, performances, banquets, parties and dances.
1,600 square foot conference room that can accommodate up to one hundred people and can be used for civic organization meetings, parties, training/educational classes, recitals and small performances.
1,460 square foot concession and kitchen area.
Adequate parking for participants, vendors, spectators and livestock trailers is available adjacent and across road from the building.
The facility is available for rent. Rental terms and conditions will be forthcoming. Jackson County has received a $300,000 OneGeorgia Special Purpose Award from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs to assist in the construction of the new agricultural center.
