Jackson County Tax Commissioner’s Offices Implement Restricted Access
Only essential transactions will be processed; utilize online/e-services for all others
JEFFERSON, Georgia, March 23, 2020 – In response to the COVID-19 public health threat, Jackson County Tax Commissioner’s office have implemented essential-only services with social distancing to reduce risk to staff and the public.
Effective March 23, 2020 – only essential transactions such as titles, new tags and TOP extensions will be allowed inside the Tax Commissioner’s office to be processed; all other services must utilize eservices, online or kiosks.

Customers can use kiosks throughout the metro area for regular tag renewals. Please visit dor.georgia.gov/mvd-self-service-tag-kiosk for rules, hours and locations.
