Jackson County is updating its Pre-Disaster Mitigation Plan, which better prepares the community for a natural hazard event (such as a tornado or flood). Our first public hearing will be Tuesday, July 17th 6pm at the Jefferson Clubhouse. Your input would be greatly valued and appreciated. Your participation will help us identify steps we should take to prevent injury to citizens and damage to property during and after such an event.
