Process for obtaining a Building Permit

Please provide the following to obtain a building permit. When filling an application for an Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC Permit, include the subs State License and Business Number at the time of submission of the application. Any incomplete application will not be accepted. Affidavits are no longer needed.


1. Septic tank permit needed from the Environmental Health Office

2. A receipt that the water connection has been paid
3. Driveway permit (done at the time of building permit application in our office)
4. E-911 address for property 706-367-1234
5. A copy of the recorded plat from the Clerks office with house drawn to scale showing all setbacks
6. A copy of E & S Blue Card and General Contractor License.

Permit will not be process for 10 days after NOI is sent.
