Jackson County Transit offers two 10- passenger vans, both equipped with wheelchair accessibility. This system provides rural public transportation services designed to allow convenient, dependable, accessible transportation for Jackson County residents who, due to financial and/or physical burdens, do not have access to other means of transportation.

This is a Shared-Ride Service, meaning that several individuals may be on- board the vehicle and in route to their destination.

Jackson County Transit is funded jointly by the Jackson County Board of Commissioners and the Georgia Department of Transportation.
