This court handles estates, guardianships, vital records, marriage licenses, elections, firearms license, fireworks permits and paternity acknowledgements just to name a few. Below you will find links to many of our forms and more detailed information on the procedures handled by this office. You may speak with a clerk in person or by phone regarding any of these procedures during regular office hours.   Either clerk can assist you with your forms or questions.

While we want to be of service to the public, there are restrictions and limits to what the staff and Judge of the Probate Court may properly do. It is never our intent to seem unhelpful or uncooperative. The following information is intended to help the public understand our procedures and these restrictions. Two other web sites of interest are the Georgia Probate Court and the Georgia Judicial Branch sites.

We are located in the County Courthouse at 5000 Jackson Pkwy, Suite 140, Jefferson, Georgia, 30549.
